On June 22, the Drofa Comms team attended a meeting dedicated to the 4th birthday of City A.M. It is one of the major British publications that writes about the crypto industry. The event was held in London in Boisdale at Canary Wharf. The guests of the event were representatives of the fintech industry and publications working in this field.
Crypto A.M. organised networking, one of the key points of which was Matt Hancock’s speech. He spoke about the need to create a tax system and regulatory regime that would be attractive to crypto companies. This will be an important step for the UK to become a crypto centre.
The former Health Secretary also noted that the UK should not be afraid of mistakes on the way to becoming a crypto hub, but concentrate on liberal regulation of cryptocurrencies. He pointed out that Britain has already made several major steps in that direction, but there is still a lot of work to do.
“This event was one of the most significant for our team and me personally, because we have been working in the field of fintech for many years. It was an honour for me to attend this birthday party and chat with progressive-minded people. I am glad that despite the difficult time for the crypto industry and the crypto winter, our community continues to actively interact and grow every day” — said Masha Balanivich, Drofa Comms’ UK PR Manager.
