Drofa Comms Team at CryptoFunds22 in London

The main focus of the conference was how to approach crypto funds and how different they are from more traditional ones. There’s no one answer to these questions yet as the difference between digital assets and traditional markets is wide: crypto markets are open around the clock, they are far riskier, many experts find them harder to comprehend, they are poorly regulated, cryptocurrencies are difficult to navigate – the list is infinite. However, in terms of fund structuring, they are rather similar. Crypto funds have their own features and identity for sure, but they could bring high returns if you tolerate risks and volatility.

While Drofa Comms’ Founder and CEO, Valentina Drofa, was in Dubai for Binance Blockchain Week, the company’s London team joined CryptoFunds22. The event was aimed to help fill the crypto-knowledge gap for fund managers, wealth managers, family offices and HNWI investors in the London financial community.

“Toby Lewis, Novum Insights, made a wonderful remark saying ‘Crypto volatility is a feature, not a bug’. It could be the point of growth if you are prepared for risks. I also enjoyed the regulatory speech by Eoin Motherway, AMX. There’s a common understanding that the crypto community require more regulations. However, what they actually mean is that they need global definitions and regulatory clarity.” – Masha Balanovich, Drofa Comms’ UK PR Manager
